Tait, your skipper, learnt to sail in the estuary at Appledore in a
small 7ft 9 inch gunter rig traditional Fairley Marine 'Duckling',
before she ventured out in bigger boats over Bideford Bar and to sea.
Her home water is the Bristol Channel . She is an RYA trained and
examined commercial sail offshore yachtmaster. Diesel engine
maintenance, VHF radio, radar, first aid and sea survival training have
also all be undertaken.
She
has sailed Patron to Wales, Ireland and around its South Coast, to the
Scillies, the Channel Islands and across to St Malo and the medieval
town of Dinan in France. She has also taken Patron up to Bristol,
Sharpness and into Gloucester, experiencing first hand the second
largest tidal range in the world.
Her
experience also includes sailing in Greece, Turkey, Portugal, Canaries,
Caribbean, Thailand and Myanmar.
Her
aim is to provide you with an unforgettable sailing experience and a
brilliant day or holiday.
